“As a busy mom of two very active toddlers! My criteria for a great nanny was mainly, has to be great with the kids! I have been lucky so far, as my current of 4 years, she is amazing with the kids especially with the on/off colds, mini accidents at home! I never worry! Apart from the odd attitudes each and every other week, and the fact that she is not a good cook! I am just grateful that I know she would do absolutely anything for my kids! So I when you pick them, PICK your BATTLES!”

“She was called Jenniffer, my namesake but there is where the similarities end. She was really good at first, stayed with my family for 1yr. Then she went for Christmas and came back a different househelp. She started not finishing her chores, always late in cooking meals because she always knew by 5pm because of the kids and then one day she crossed the line when she hit my 10yrs old daughter. I fired her immediately.”

“I had a terrible experience with Sheilah. She is not able to manage the daily household tasks, Very disorganized, Dirty, zero cooking skills, she needs close supervision. She is not friendly with kids. She takes off days very serious, she might disappear on Friday afternoon and return on Tuesday Evening.”

“Moureen was so good with some of the best delicacies. She used to prepare nice ugali and greens(Kienyeji). But when it came to cleanliness, it was a 1 star. She used to leave the kitchen dirty, unattended and at time we would find her just lying down when there were dishes in the sink or laundry.”

“My Househelp is called Naomi, she is a very clean girl, she keeps my house clean and very organized. However, she is not a great cooking, like one day she cooked rice and mixed everything, nobody in the house was able to eat. But overall I can give her 6/10. I have been with her for the last 6 months.”

“I stayed with Christine for about 6 months. She was good... very clean, showers everyday and cooks pretty well. However she was somehow rude and the last day she had an attraction with my wife where she was being told to redo the washrooms. she however declined to my wife's face and said they are clean. They argued and it almost broke out to a fight. She was extremely rude and arrogant at that moment - were it not for the caretaker and the day watchman, my wife would have been beaten!! I dismissed her on the spot.”
